Following Government advice issued this week, the Security Institute HQ has instigated its contingency plans and moved to home working where possible. The office will be closed until further notice, all payments must be made via our online shop.
All external meetings, events and engagements have been cancelled for the immediate future but my team and I will be monitoring developments and advice daily.
At a time of increasing isolation, we are keen to provide a different membership engagement experience. From next week, a virtual engagement will commence via our schedule of webinars. This style of engagement will be interactive and recorded for use by a wider global audience. If you would like to participate as a contributor, interviewee or presenter, we would love to hear from you – please contact Jade Lapper (firstname.lastname@example.org).
If you find yourself with more time on your hands, why not delve into the Members’ Area of the website and see what training, assessments and thought leadership is available in our Professional Development Platform? Maybe use our Mentoring Platform and offer to mentor or get some advice you have been meaning to ask for but never had time! Both Platforms are available in our smartphone App which can be downloaded for free via the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store, and accessed with your website password.

Despite the restrictions, life goes on and we are a network that supports one another – our new Community Platform and Members-Only LinkedIn Group are great platforms to find and support other security professionals within our community at this time.
