Dubai, UAE – The Security Institute is pleased to announce the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with the Security Industry Regulatory Authority (SIRA), part of the Government of Dubai, and the Professional Security & Safety Alliance (PSSA). These significant agreements were formalised at InterSec 2025 in Dubai, with the Institute’s CEO, Professor Simon Hepburn, leading the initiative.
SIRA, under the leadership of CEO H.E. Khalifa AI Saleis, is committed to ensuring Dubai achieves the highest standards of safety and security by implementing international best practices across security systems, services, and personnel. Similarly, the PSSA, chaired by Mr Ahmed Ismaeil Alblooshi, is a key organisation fostering collaboration, innovation, and excellence in the security and safety sectors.
The MOUs are designed to enhance communication, cooperation and collaboration between the parties. A key focus is on the exchange of knowledge and expertise to support the development of security professionals worldwide.
