Job Description

Main responsibilities

  • Programming, installing and
    repairing two-way radio equipment for delivery
  • Preparation of equipment for
    dispatch
  • Respond to customers technical
    queries on the telephone and via email

Knowledge, skills and experience required

  • Electronic and or two-way radio system experience: 3 years – preferred
  • Experience in maintaining and fixing 2-way communication devices, including the use of soldering
  • Good knowledge of electronics and two-way radio systems
  • Knowledge of Motorola and/or Hytera communication equipment – preferred· 
  • Good knowledge of repeaters and their installation is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organised, self-motivated, honest and trustworthy
  • Right personality, positive, likable, good sense of humour, builds relationships easily
  • Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Computer Literate. Good working knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads (up to 20kg)
  • Flexible with working hours as daily finish times may be extended to complete deliveries
  • Advantageous to have held a similar role previously / suit ex-H.M Forces having worked in this environment.

Senior Lecturer Organisational Resilience/Intelligence

Main Duties & Responsibilities of the role: To be responsible for the BSc(Hons) Intelligence Analysis and Management and the MSc Critical Infrastructure Security, their continued excellence and further development including:

  • Responsibility for the day-to-day running of modules
  • Liaising with academic and administrative staff

This role suits someone with a strong sales background, ideally in security services with drive, passion, integrity to succeed and able to achieve agreed annual targets. Regular attendance is required at industry events and exhibitions presenting the company and effective networking with potential customers.
