The posts will be based in MOD Main Building, London with occasional travel to other MOD sites.

These 2 posts will work across the 3 Enterprise Security Assistant Heads and with the AUKUS programme, supporting Australia to acquire a nuclear-powered submarine capability. The post-holders will collaborate closely with key stakeholders from across the Defence Nuclear Enterprise to ensure a coherent and coordinated approach to security. The two posts will each support the following areas:
- Threats, Vulnerabilities, Risk and security policy

These posts are within DNO’s Enterprise Security Team but will also work closely with the AUKUS Security Assistant Head, who is embedded within the AUKUS Programme Delivery Office (PDO), which will cohere the UK’s activity in support of the AUKUS endeavour.
Due to the nature of the role and time zone differences, liaison with Australian colleagues will require the Post Holders to attend VTC calls from the office (probably once every couple of weeks) in the late evening and/or early morning. It is expected that the Post Holders will start later/finish earlier on days when such calls occur. An allowance is available for staff required to work between 1900 and 0700.
