The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) (National Cyber Security Centre – NCSC.GOV.UK) the UK’s technical authority for cyber security commissioned a research company to under a project to better understand the perceived lack ‘lack of board engagement with cyber security and cyber-related decision-making’.
Based upon this they have recently launched a Cyber Security Toolkit for Boards, to help boards to embed cyber resilience and risk management throughout their organisations, systems, technologies and staff.
The Security Institute CEO Prof. Simon Hepburn commented that ‘This is an important addition to the information and guidance that NCSC provides to both business but also to the security sector’.
