Phrases to avoid in the
workplace
Many of us want to exude confidence and professionalism in the
workplace, this new article that has added to the Professional
development Platform address how it is often the case that our
unconscious word choices impact how we come across to others.
How often do you start your sentences with ‘just’ or ‘I think’? Our
unconscious use of phrases like these can actually harm how
confident we seem to others and feel in ourselves. This article
looks at some of the key phrases to avoid at work and what to say

recruitment and induction processes too. To help members
