The Security Institute offer tiered-membership levels and associated
post-nominals, based upon an individual’s experience, qualifications
to date and their contributions to the sector. Learners enrolled on
any of the three pathway programmes will be granted free student
membership with the Security Institute. Through this membership,
learners benefit from peer introduction to other like-minded individuals
and graduates of the Security Institute’s training pathway, and
mentorship within the security management sector regarding career
progression acts as an additional benefit for those enrolled on the
programmes, as well as networking and CPD opportunities.

Navigating today’s risk-riddled world is unwieldy and challenging,
synonymous with an unending climb into the unknown. However, the
Security Institute’s range of online, accredited security management
qualifications offers learners the opportunity to expand their own
understandings of core security and risk management theory and
practices, develop the skills to implement best practice within their
respective organisations and to enhance their own CV, setting them
apart from their competition for employment and promotions.

Successful Security Institute pathway learners have leveraged their
qualifications to gain entrance into the world of professional security
management and to scale upward into enhanced roles within their
organisations. I fully intend to prepare myself for next year’s journey
to Snowdonia. Through the necessary training, I will seek to overcome
whatever the ragged peaks throw at me and it is my goal to gaze at the
horizon from the summit, knowing that I carved my own pathway to
