Stuart Lowden CSyP FSyI
announced as the new
Chairman of Ward Security
Stuart Lowden CSyP FSyI is the new chairman
of Ward Security, one of the Security Institute’s
Corporate Partners.
Stuart has had a long and notable career within
the security industry. He was one of the co-
founders and Directors of the Security Institute,
and remained highly involved with the security
community going on to serve as the Chairman of
the British Security Industry Association (BSIA).
Stuart is now one of just over 200 Chartered
Security Professionals.
He is also well known in the industry as the co-
founder of the security arm of the logistics and
related services contractor Wilson James. After his
time at Wilson James, he has been a consultant.
Speaking on his new role Stuart said:
“I’m still very passionate about the industry and I
welcome the opportunity to join Ward at such an
exciting time in their journey. They have strong
values and a genuine desire to deliver intelligent
solutions to their customers. I am excited at
the prospect of working closely with the senior
leadership team and supporting the business in its
