to come.

Election of Directors
We were thrilled this year to see such fantastic uptake in the elections for Director of the Institute with a
total of ten nominees put forward. These consisted of six new nominees, Bruce Braes CSyP FSyI, Frank
Cannon CSyP FSyI, Guy Mathias FSyI, Hayley Elvins CSyP FSyI, Julie Nel MSyI and Rollo Davies MSyI. We also
had two nominees re-standing for election, Andy Watkin-Child CSyP MSyI and Bob Martin CSyP FSyI, and two
Co-opted board members seeking election, Sarah Austerberry CSyP FSyI and Chris Smith CSyP FSyI.
Unfortunately, despite such fantastic nominations, there were only four places available on the Board, and
Nigel Churton FSyI was invited to announce the results. The successful candidates were: Sarah Austerberry
CSyP FSyI, Julie Nel MSyI, Hayley Elvins CSyP FSyI and Frank Cannon CSyP FSyI. Peter Lavery congratulated
them on being appointed and welcomed them to the Board.
Peter Lavery closed the meeting, whilst confirming his last Annual General Meeting as Chair, thanking staff
and members for all their support during his time in tenure.
