Membership Update
2023
The Security Institute embraces and recognises the need for membership that suits all levels of SEATS
experience, from those just starting out in their career through employment and/or study to those with
many years’ senior experience. The membership offers services such as pre-arranged networking events,
mentoring, CPD and Special Interest Group opportunities, as it brings members together to support and
encourage each other.
Our membership encompasses a wide range of sectors within the profession from both public and
private sectors. All applications are subject to detailed peer review and grading by The Security Institute’s
Validation Board (made up of approximately 50 current members from various security backgrounds).
We are proudly ending 2023 with around 4,765 members.
