Our SyI Golf Day:

A Day of Safe Socialising

On August 11th, we were pleased to host a Security Institute Golf Day.
Our Chief Executive Rick Mounfield CSyP FSyI was on hand to welcome
new members, and enjoyed the opportunity to catch up with some
familiar faces at Pine Ridge Golf Club in Surrey.

Fortunately, it was a lovely sunny day that allowed all attendees to
enjoy a leisurely day of golf. As an outside activity it was the perfect
way to safely socialise during these times, with attendees split into
smaller teams of 4 as an additional precaution. The event was filled
with conversations reflecting on the past few unprecedented months,
as well as looking forward to the future as we as an industry continue
to adapt to the current challenges.

A big thank you to all those that attended this event, and a special
thank you to our event sponsors Nedap.

The Security Institute will continue to follow all government guidelines
when running our events. All Institute events are currently limited to
reduced numbers and will have extra measures in place to ensure the
health and safety of all. But we look forward to running similar events,
including another Golf Day, when it is safe to do so as it was well
enjoyed by all attendees.
