Security, Board Director and Other Relevant Experience:
With more than 20 years of security industry experience, Bhanu
Goud, an expert security consultant has been delivering major
projects and security operations strategy to the end users. Along with
many electronic security and security industry certifications, Bhanu
possesses a master’s degree in business administration with an in-depth expertise of strategy
and project management. Throughout his career, Bhanu has delivered several security projects,
from the strategy of the complex rail sector through to the prestigious & iconic heritage/museum
sector customers.

As a highly respected electronic security expert, Bhanu has been recognised as IFSEC 4th Global
Fire & Security Influencer, for the year 2020.

Bhanu has also started an end user security interest group –Public Space Security (PSS), which
provides a platform to many security executives of different prestigious end user organisations.
This interest group helps to share the knowledge of ever-changing risks and security threats,
allowing Senior Executives to assist each other in identifying the risk mitigation strategies,
operations and electronic systems best suitable to their individual organisations.

Date of Joining the Institute: 2018

Previous Security Institute Involvement:
Since joining the Security Institute in 2018, Bhanu has assisted in organising several events of the
Institute and participated in several security forums. Including a breakfast briefing and a tour of
the British Library, as well as hosting the 2019 CT SIG launch event with TINYg.

Areas of Interest in the Institute:
Bhanu is keen to develop the Electronic Security, Technical Directorate and Security Consulting
areas of the Security Institute.

Personal Comment:
We are facing an unprecedented crisis globally. This has affected every industry sector including
security, causing different work patterns and practices. This has adversely affected how
individuals can learn and progress their careers due to limited opportunities.

To overcome these critical times and continue individual progress, I strongly believe in sharing
knowledge, expertise and experience. As a passionate member of the Security Institute, I would
like to advocate and promote such knowledge sharing and collaboration between organisations
and individuals to achieve industry best standards.
