Elected Directors

Angie Clarke CSyP FSyI

Angie has a background in senior policing and has been a member
of various strategic level boards as part of her roles. These board
memberships were in a variety of areas that are relevant in the
commercial protective security sector (STRIDE Board for Diversity/
Inclusion, Corporate H&S, Professional Standards). Angie was
immersed in senior strategy for topics that affect the security
industry as well as policing.
Speaking on being elected Angie said:
'Firstly I would like to thank those members that voted for me, a
democratic voting process success is always humbling, and I thank
people for placing their trust in me. I am excited to be part of the
leadership of the Security Institute, it has values that have been
with me throughout my life; high professional standards, integrity
and ethics and improving standards of professional competence.
The security sector is vast, there are many areas of security that
will add value to any organisation, and I want to champion that
value. I am committed to ensuring the Security Institute attracts
great members who will be listened to and respected. These
members give their credibility to the organisation and allow us
to collaborate, influence and have a voice in making appropriate
change to benefit our sector.'

Rowena Fell FSyI

Rowena is a senior security professional of 26 years with a Master’s
degree in Security and Intelligence, she is CPP certified and a
Fellow of the Security Institute. Rowena served in the British Army
for 12 years (1995 – 2007) and has dedicated her corporate career
to the security profession. Alongside her work, Rowena is a Trustee
of ABF The Soldiers’ Charity (Non-Executive Director), as well as a
Veteran Ambassador for the Open University’s Disabled Veterans
Scholarship Fund.

In addition, Rowena was the previous Industry Chair of CPNI
Information Exchange – Securing IT against Insiders, and was a
Board member on the Women's’ Security Society and a member of
the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals.
