ATP Scheme
In the fast-paced, evolving landscape of security, identifying credible learning and development opportunities
requires a leap of faith to navigate the myriad of training providers. Choosing a programme raises many
questions about affordability, time constraints, are the instructors qualified? Is the content current? Is the
company reputable and appropriately insured? Will the learning be recognised by future employers, enhance
job prospects and make my CV stand out?
At the Security Institute, we have listened to the concerns our members have, and recognise that everyone
who is committed to their personal and professional development should have access to credible training,
recognised within the sector when parting with hard-earned cash. To do this, we have, under the guidance
and expertise of our Director Angela Vernon-Lawson FSyI, created two levels of learning and development
endorsements:
1. Approved Training Provider: Continuous Professional Development (ATP CPD)
2. Approved Training Provider: Professional Certification (ATP PC)
What does this mean for members?
