Bob Martin CSyP FSyI
            Director of Professional Development

            Bob leads on the Institute’s strategy to support the continuing professional development (CPD) of
            security practitioners. He has oversight of our CPD scheme and strategy for the development of the
            Register of Chartered Security Professionals (RCSP), representing the Institute on the Chartered
            Security Professionals Registration Authority and co-delivering the successful application workshops
            for prospective Chartered Security Professionals. Bob is also a member of the Audit Committee
            and has been a significant contributor to a number of governance development projects within
            the Institute. He brings to the Institute in excess of 40 years’ experience working in the corporate
            security arena.




            Stephanie Roberts MSyI
            Director of Corporate Social Responsibility

            Steph leads on corporate social responsibility, with a particular interest in professional standards
            and ethics, as well as youth engagement. She is also a member of the Risk and Ethics Committees.
            Outside of the Institute, Steph is managing director of a security consultancy and training firm.
            This follows over thirty years in the Metropolitan Police, where she retired as Commander of
            Covert Policing and Intelligence with strategic lead for communications and digital data and lawful
            intercept.






            John Sephton FSyI
            Director of Member Engagement

            John chairs the Membership Management Advisory Group (MMAG), working closely with the
            Institute’s membership engagement team. He also chairs the Young Members Group and is a
            member of the Remuneration Committee. John works as an Account Director for Axis Security, with
            longstanding experience in improving, managing and innovating a wide range of security contracts.










            Angela Vernon-Lawson FSyI
             Director of Education

            In her role as education lead, Angela created the Approved Training Provider scheme and
            developed and oversees the Institute’s apprenticeship strategy, representing the Institute on
            the security apprenticeship trailblazer group. She is also a member of the Remuneration and
            Ethics Committees, and sponsoring director for the Security, Education, Accreditation, Training
            and Standards (SEATS) and Business Continuity, Emergency Planning, Crisis Management and
            Resilience (BECRes) special interest groups. Angela has a longstanding career in business continuity
            and security consultancy, supporting the global and national operations for FTSE 100 clients in the
            finance, aviation, media, sport, and oil industries; and in security education having worked as a
            senior lecturer for Buckinghamshire New University and awarding body lead in the FE sector.
