Risk Committee
The Risk Committee assists the Board in articulating and developing
its risk management strategy and oversight of risk across all activ-
ities and services provided by or on behalf of the Institute for or
on behalf of its members. This includes overseeing the current risk
exposure, development and monitoring the effectiveness of the risk
appetite in respect of policies, key internal processes and controls.
The Committee will also oversee the development, maintenance and
implementation of appropriate policies and approve or recommend
for approval such policies to the Board.
Renumeration Committee
The Remuneration Committee is responsible for ensuring that the In-
stitute adheres to the highest standards of governance best practice
in remuneration matters. It makes recommendations to the Board
on remuneration policy in respect of all Institute employees. The
Committee determines individual staff members’ total remuneration
packages including discretionary pay and awards.
Ethics Committee
The Ethics Committee upholds the Institute Code of Ethics, considers
any allegations of misconduct referred to it under the Disciplinary
Process, and considers any ethics concerns relating to membership
applications. The Committee is in the process of undertaking a
detailed review of the Code of Ethics and the Disciplinary Process,
which will in turn inform a review of its Terms of Reference.
